Less than 24 hours after testifying before Congress for a grueling nine hours, White House Communications Director Hope Hicks told President Trump she was resigning from her post.
The Washington Post is reporting President Trump is expected to approve the release of the infamous “Nunes memo,” though redacted, and will kick it back to the House of Representatives. From there, the GOP-led House Intelligence Committee will likely release it to the public.
I didn’t want to jump into this blog—one that has been a dream of mine for a while—without some sort of explanatory note. My goal is to provide objective commentary and analysis about the goings on in Washington and around the country in local and state politics. After all, all politics is local.
No matter what side of the aisle you’re on, you have to admit this is a wild time in America’s history, and textbooks will devote entire chapters to the 2016 presidential election.
